UAQ gives free plane tickets to expats who want to spend Eid Al Adha with family

The civil defence department of Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) on Tuesday, August 14, announced that it will be giving free plane tickets to expatriate workers in the emirate in celebration of Eid Al Adha.

Lieutenant Dr Salem Hamad bin Hamda, director of Umm Al Quwain’s civil defence department, said that aside from the plane ticket, the Umm Al Quwain government will also provide transportation allowance as well as gifts to the expats’ wives and children.

The move is a part of the “Spend Eid With Your Children” program which seeks to highlight the importance of spending the holiday season with the family.

Hamda underscored the importance of keeping workers in the UAE happy, motivated, and productive saying that allowing expats to spend the holiday season with their families is also beneficial for the UAE in the long run as expats will be more motivated in their respective jobs.

إنطلاقاً من حرص إدارة الدفاع المدني/أم القيوين على تحفيز موظفيها وتنويع ممكنات السعادة المؤسسية بما يحقق الرقي بالخدمات المقدمة لتوفير بيئة عمل مستدامة. تم طرح مبادرة (عيّد بين عيالك) والتي هي عبارة عن منح العامل (فئة المستخدمين ) بالإدارة أجازه تمكنه من قضاء وقت عيد الأضحى المبارك بين أفراد عائلته والأستمتاع بفرحة العيد معهم وبالإضافة الى تقديم تذكرة سفر وهدية عينية له ولزوجته وأولاده وتوصيله من والى المطار . كما أكد سعادة المقدم د./ سالم حمد بن حمضه مدير إدارة الدفاع المدني أم القيوين بالأنابه أن هذه المبادرة جاءت بمناسبة قرب حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك والتي تهدف إلى توطيد العلاقات الاسرية لفئة العاملين وتقويتها وبيان أهمية الترابط والتلاحم الاسري من خلال زرع ثقة الاهتمام بين الموظفين وبيئة العمل المؤسسي بما يحقق الزيادة في الإنتاجية وجودة مخرجات العمل.
