The UAE government has announced the holiday dates for workers in the private sector on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) said that the holiday will begin on Monday, August 20, until Wednesday, August 22.
Work resumes on Thursday, August 23, to be followed by a two-day weekend.
Earlier, The UAE Cabinet a one-week holiday for workers in government ministries and departments in celebration of Eid Al Adha.
The holiday will begin on August 19, Sunday, and will last until August 23, Thursday. Work resumes on August 26, Sunday, reported WAM.
The announcement was made following the declaration of the the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia that Eid Al Adha will fall on August 21 with the the month of Zul Hijjah beginning on August 12, Sunday.
