Saudi seeks to hire 1,000 Filipino nurses

Saudi Arabia is in need of 1,000 Filipino nurses who will earn a minimum of Php58,000 monthly, excluding additional benefits.

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced that Saudi seeks to hire 1,000 Filipino nurses with different specialization, reported GMA News.

Nurses with Board or PRC license and equipped with two years of prior experience are welcomed to apply for the available posts.

Aside from the Php58,000 monthly minimum wage, which could go up all the way to Php90,000, accommodation and food will also be provided to hired applicants with annual paid vacation leave and a roundtrip ticket to the Philippines.

“Yan yung starting nila pero as they go along based on their experience, based on their specialization, tumataas yung sweldo nila,” said Jocelyn Sanchez, deputy administrator of POEA.

Interested applicants must register online through the POEA website before visiting the main office for submission of required documents which will be processed free-of-charge.

Since the opened posts are a part of a government-to-government deal, applicants may only apply through POEA and not employment agencies.

Aside from Saudi Arabia, Germany and United Kingdom are also in need of nurses.

The job order is available through the POEA website.
