A 46-year-old Egyptian is facing sexual harassment charges for allegedly groping a Filipina cleaner when she was alone with him in his flat in Dubai.
The defendant denied the accusations at the Court of First Instance, saying that he unintentionally touched her, reported Khaleej Times.
The 32-year-old Filipina said that she was assigned to clean the suspect’s flat on March 11.
She was ironing the man’s clothes in the living room when he called her to go to his bedroom.
She added that the man inappropriately touched her while she was cleaning.
The Filipina also said that the man offered to give her money if she keeps mum about the incident.
The court hearing of the case has been adjourned to July 8.
