Cebu Pacific recently released the top ten most voted places in the Philippines, from which they will pick their new flight destination.
Last November, Cebu Pacific started their #CEBFlyMeTo campaign wherein travellers can suggest a new flight destination in the Philippines with limited commercial air service.
“CEB takes to the heart its commitment to nation building and improving the lives of the communities it serves. We want to continue connecting the Philippine islands and offering the lowest fares to stimulate travel and commerce. With this campaign, we would like to involve our stakeholders in the selection process and actively engage with them as we choose our next destination,” Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Distribution at Cebu Pacific, said.
“This is taking collaboration to the next level. We saw the CEB Low Fare Effect in Masbate and Siargao, now we want to ask people where they want us to fly next,” she added
Through the #CEBFlyMeTo campaign, Cebu Pacific is expecting that Filipinos will be able to see more what the Philippines can offer as they continue adding more flight routes.
The top ten most voted destinations of the #CEBFlyMeTo campaign are:
- Daet, Camarines Norte
- Mati, Davao Oriental
- Bantayan, Cebu
- San Vicente, Palawan
- Siquijor, Siquijor
- Lal-lo, Cagayan Province
- Marinduque
- Maasin, Leyte
- Basco, Batanes
- Bislig, Surigao del Sur
The new destination will be chosen according to its airport readiness checklist, which includes travel demand, runway and passenger facilities, and safety and security.
Cebu Pacific’s new flight destination will be announced on February 12.
