Manager pleads not guilty to molesting Filipina workmate in Dubai

An Egyptian man appeared before the Dubai Court of First Instance Tuesday, October 31, pleading not guilty to the charges of molestation filed by a Filipina co-worker, Gulf News reported.

In a report by Bassam Za’za’, the man was accused of groping and kissing the Filipina inside his office.
Court records show that the manager, 29, asked the Filipina to stay after the company’s closing hours to have a meeting.
After everyone in the company had left, the woman entered the manager’s office, where he allegedly opened her shirt and groped her multiple times.
“I cried bitterly and begged him to stop, but he didn’t and then he groped me. He continued harassing me physically and once he tried to kiss me, I pushed him away,” the Filipina told prosecutors.
She added that the man slapped her twice after denying that she wanted to “land him in trouble”.
The suspect argued that the Filipina fabricated the harassment allegations.
The ruling is set on December 17.
