An argument about politics in the Philippines between a couple in Quezon City turned into a nightmare, September 30.
Richie Hernaez’s car crashed into a pickup truck in Ilocos Sur Street, Barangay Sto. Cristo in Quezon City.
According to Hernaez, his girlfriend tried to take the steering wheel away from him after having a dispute over political discussions.
“Nagkaroon lang kami ng konting pagtatalo regarding politics. Wala na akong nagawa, nakapreno ako sa part na ito, kaya lang, hindi na kinaya kasi mas malakas siya eh,” 24 Oras quoted Hernaez.
Hernaez also admitted that he drank two bottles of liquor before driving.
His girlfriend was rushed to the nearest hospital after sustaining a minor injury.
Hernaez promised that he will pay for the damages of cars involved in the incident.
