Filipinos in the UAE seem to be on a winning streak as another overseas Filipino worker (OFW) takes home a big surprise.
As part of Dubai Summer Surprises City Center Deira gave away the grand prize of 1 kilogram of gold to Filipino Edmundo Catangay, Khaleej Times reported.

Shoppers who spent Dh200 in any store of the mall had the chance to win the bar of gold worth about Dh150,000 or P2 million, the report said.
The Dubai mall also offered shoppers the chance to win 100,000 flydubai reward points by spending at least Dh400 at fashion stores. The promo period ran from July 1 to August 12.
