France is eyeing to bounce back from the drop in the number of their tourists after the series of attacks that hit Paris and Nice last year.
Visa delivery time for Filipinos and six other Asian countries, which previously takes around ten days, will be cut down to just 48 hours starting November 1, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced on Wednesday.
Tourists from India, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Indonesia is set to comprise France’s 100 million foreign tourist target in 2020.
This measure will also be extended to Saudi Arabia and Vietnam next year if a change in EU visa procedures will allow it.
