Huawei launches first-ever triple camera smartphone

Huawei is shaking things up on the smartphone industry as it has just launched their Huawei P20 Pro, the world’s first triple camera smartphone

In a report from Gizmodo, the Huawei P20 Pro’s triple rear cameras consist of: the 40 MP-main RGB sensor, the 20-MP monochrome sensor, and an 8-MPI sensor with x3 optical zoom. The selfie camera is also of high quality at 24 MP.

With these camera specs that Huawei has co-engineered with Leica, a well-established company for making high-end cameras, the P20 pro is expected to take photos rich with detail even as you zoom in.

The P20 on the other hand sports dual cameras is smaller and more affordable compared to its P20 pro counterpart. The P20 pro will have 6 GB of memory, 4000 mah battery and 128 GB of storage with an estimate price of 899 euros (AED 4100). The P20 is expected to be at a 649 euros (AED 3000) price point with 4GB of memory, 3400 mah battery and 128 GB storage.

Both P20 pro and P20 are slated for an April-May release this 2018.
