New York Knicks remains most valuable NBA team – Forbes

The New York Knicks maintains most valuable NBA team rank for five years, according to a US-based business magazine.
Forbes, on Tuesday, reported the Knicks may have won their last NBA title in 1973 but the team’s value remains at $4.6 billion up by 15 percent from a year ago.
The ranking is linked to the renovation of their arena, a blockbuster local TV deal and playing in the richest North American sports market.
The announcement came a week after team owner, James Dolan, stated that he is not selling the team.
He also said that he is still finding the leader for the team who would lead the players back in track to gain a title soon.
The other teams in the top five are: Los Angeles Lakers ($4.4 billion), Golden State Warriors ($4.3 billion), Chicago Bulls ($3.2 billion), and Boston Celtics ($3.1 billion).
