Kai Sotto makes it to the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in Chicago

Kai Sotto has been included in the lineup for the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in Chicago, according to an announcement from the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (Fiba).
Sotto joins the top 64 boys and girls from 34 countries and regions who will travel to Quest Multisport on February 14 to 16. This is part of the NBA All-Star 2020.
Kai is the second Filipino to be invited to the camp.

It was Filipino-Nigerian and current University of Toledo sophomore AJ Edu who first took part in the fourth edition of the camp in Los Angeles back in 2018, according to a report by ABS-CBN Sports.
There will be a variety of activities on and off the court, including movement efficiency, skill development stations, shooting and skills competitions, 5-on-5 games, and life skills seminars focusing on health, leadership, and communication, according to a report from Spin.ph.
For the final day, it will feature a single-elimination tournament culminating with the boy’s and girls’ championship games.
The campers will also attend State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and the 69th NBA All-Star Game at the United Center.
Sotto ranks 11th center in the latest ESPN 100 rankings for the high school class of 2020. He was previously number 68 in the ranking.
Currently, he is playing for Atlanta’s The Skills Factory.
