NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal on Kobe Bryant’s death: I lost a little brother

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was heartbroken upon learning the death of fellow NBA superstar Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash in California, Sunday morning.
Shaq said that he didn’t want to believe the news at first when he saw it on social media.
“I haven’t felt a pain that sharp in a while,” he said on TNT’s “Remembering Kobe” tribute.
“I lost a little brother,” Shaq said.
The tribute was aired at the Staples Center where the game between the Los Angeles Lakers where Bryant played his entire NBA career.

Shaq said that they never lost respect to each other.
The basketball legend said that he is sad because he could no longer joke with Bryant again.
“I wish I could say something to him again,” Shaq said.
