Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury to rematch in February

World Boxing Council heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder and contender Tyson Fury finally set their awaited rematch on February 22, 2020 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
According to the announcement by their promoters, the promoters said they are glad and thrilled about the rematch finally taking place.
The two fought in Los Angeles last December to a split decision draw. Fury was leading on the first rounds before he was knocked down by Tyson on the 12th round, Rappler reported.
Wilder, who will make his 11th title defense, said, “I’m happy and I’m excited that the rematch is finally happening. I want to give the fans what they want to see.”
“I proved myself the first time and I’m ready to do it again. It was a very controversial fight. I promise my fans that there won’t be any controversy with this one. I’m going to finish it,” Rappler quoted him as saying.
Fury, meanwhile, said he is looking forward to finishing this fight against Wilder.
“This is unfinished business for me, but come February 22, this dosser will finally get what’s coming to him, and I can’t wait,” he said.
