Forbes names Manny Pacquiao 8th highest paid athlete of the decade

Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is among highest paid athletes in the world for the last 10 years, according to Forbes magazine.

Forbes said Pacquiao earned $435 million from 2010 to the last quarter of 2019.

Pacquiao’s 25 pay-per-view fights generated 20 million buys and earned $1.3 billion, according to the business magazine.

Pacquiao’s toughest rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. managed to get the top spot with $915 million.

Pacquiao and Mayweather faced off in 2015 and the latter won via unanimous decision.
