A Filipino wushu athlete advocates for much stricter implementation of the special discount intended for Filipino athletes and coaches.
Agatha Wong, 21, encouraged a much strict implementation of the Republic Act No. 10699 that guarantees a 20 percent discount to Filipino athletes and coaches to almost any service and sports equipment throughout the country as per a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Can we make R.A. 10699 on the national athlete’s discount benefits an imposed & required law to abide by?
Gets quite annoying to keep having to explain to managers that this kind of benefit actually exists & some are even doubtful. U think amalayer? ?

Wong said on her Twitter that “ Can we make R.A. 10699 on the national athlete’s discount benefits an imposed & required law to abide by?
“Gets quite annoying to keep having to explain to managers that this kind of benefit actually exists & some are even doubtful. U think amalayer? (You think I’m a liar?),” she added.
The Republic Act No. 10699 states that the 20 percent discount also applies to admission fees charged by theaters movie houses and concert halls and other places of culture, leisure, and amusement as well as free medical and dental consultations in government hospitals.
Wong won two gold medals in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
