Dubai- Architects Basketball Association (ABA) officially opened the 2019 Intercompany Winter Games last Friday, Dec 6 at the Al Ahli Club Gymnasium in Dubai.
The Intercompany format, which debuted winter of 2012, showcases the camaraderie and friendly rivalry of the various companies from all over the Emirates within the construction circle.
14 teams paraded on the annual event, led by their Team Leaders, which includes AMANA (Eric Noceda), AECOM (Edwin Budomo), BLUEHAUS (Jake Aguila), CRACKNELL (Jerecho Borja), MACS (Fernand Sosa), MERAAS (Aaron Santos/ Arvin Cultura), AL FUTTAIM (Jethro Cunanan), MARBELA (Floyd de Leon), NAGA (Lowins Marfil), SOBHA (Arlan Ronquillo) , 3D/CHALHOUB (Eric Cuna) ,ZEBRA (Rommel Cruz), ETCETERA LIVING (Nick Rodriguez) and LEELADHAR VARMA (Perzee Orilla).
Ms. Jenny Cortez won Best Muse among 13 others who paraded for each team.
ABA Officers hosted the event while JK Sports, led by Mr. Roland Crisostomo commenced acting as the tournament officials and organizers of the annual league.
Games will be held every Fridays from morning until evening until next year at JBS Al Wasl and Ah Ahli Club, Al Nahda in Dubai.
