LOOK: Resourceful 11-year-old girl’s version of ‘Nikes’, wins 3 gold from sprint

Eleven-year-old Rhea Ballos gained three gold medals while wearing her self-styled Nike shoes.

According to her trainer Predirick B. Valenzuela, the Balasan, Iloilo-native’s footwear was made from plaster bandage, as told to GMA News Online.

The Facebook post made by Valenzuela gathered thousands of likes after witnessing the girl’s agility and resourcefulness.

The girl who represented Salvacion Elementary School topped in the 400-meter dash, the 800-meter run, and the 1500-meter run for elementary girls at the Iloilo Schools Sports Council Meet.
