PH bags 16 medals in SEAG swimming competition

Filipino swimmers astounded their fellowmen after bringing home a total of 16 medals in the 2019 SEA Games — with nine bronzes, six silvers, and a gold–held at the New Clark City Aquatics Center.

During the event closing, Jasmine Alkhaldi and Luke Michael Gebbie earned two bronze medals on Monday, December 9, reported ABS-CBN news.
As for her sixth participation in the SEA Games competition, Alkhaldi successfully closed the event with a bronze medal in women’s 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:00.39 seconds behind two Singaporeans.

Meanwhile, Gebbie won a bronze medal in men’s 50-meter freestyle with a time of 22.62 seconds.
