Letran Knights defeats Red Lions at NCAA Men’s Basketball Finals

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men’s seniors basketball game tonight.

The Knights took down the Red Lions, 81-79, in Game 3 of the Season 95 finals held at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Jerrick Balanza spearheaded the team’s victory stopping San Beda in clinching their fourth straight title.

Balanza finished with 27 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Fran Yu was hailed Finals Most Valuable Player. He averaged 13.7 points, six assists, and 3.3 rebounds.

The Letran Knights have 18 championships in the NCAA finals, the second highest number of awards next to San Beda with 22 trophies.
