Kahwi Leonard to miss third game for LA Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard is set to miss his third straight game for his team as they compete with Oklahoma City Thunder.

Leonard has sustained a left knee injury against the Houston Rockets last Wednesday.

The player missed Clippers’ 132-127 defeat from the New Orleans Pelicans last week and a 150-101 win against Atlanta Hawks over the weekend. The Clippers will then face off with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

Taking on Leonard’s place was Paul George, who scored 70 points on his first two games after he recovered from shoulder injuries.

Patrick Beverley also suffered from a calf injury.

Leonard has an average of 26.8 points and 8.9 rebounds and six assists during his first game with the Clippers.
