National University wins ‘back-to-back’ Cheerdance competition title at UAAP Season 82

Armed with their Sarimanok-inspired theme and flawless routines and stunts, it’s no surprise that the National University Pep Squad clinched the grand champion title at the UAAP Season 82 Cheerdance Competition.

The competition was held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Sunday.

The NU Pep Squad also managed to win in several group categories and special awards like the Best Pyramid, Best Toss, and Best Stunts awards.

Far Eastern University Cheering Squad bagged the first runner-up for the Cheerdance competition for their Michael Jackson-inspired dance routine.

The Adamson University Pep Squad returns to the podium as this year’s second runner-up.

University of Santo Tomas placed fourth place the University of the East at fifth place. The University of the Philippines is at 6th place, while Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University finished at 7th and 8th, respectively.
