Blackwater Elite guard Paul Desiderio will soon be tying the knot.
His long-time girlfriend Agatha Uvero posted the announcement of the proposal on Nov. 9.
“No rebounds and a lifetime of assists. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” she wrote on her caption.
The former UP Fighting Maroon led the team in UAAP Season 81 and ended a decades-long drought of Final Four and Finals appearances.
Uvero was a former courtside reporter for the team in 2017.
Blackwater Elite is a professional basketball team owned by Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc. that is playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) beginning in the 2014–2015 season. The franchise began as one of the founding teams in the PBA Developmental League. It transferred to the PBA after being accepted as an expansion team. The team is named after the Ever Bilena’s brand of men’s fragrances.
With the help of Gilas player Marcus Douthit, Blackwater got their first win in 2015 PBA Commissioner’s Cup against San Miguel Beermen, 80-77.
