A 75-year-old grandmother from South Korea wowed audience when she flaunted her trimmed and well-toned body during a recent body-building competition.

Jong-So Lim won second prize in the senior category at the WBC Fitness Korea.

However, before her triumph, she had to go overcome her condition. She was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, a chronic back condition.

In an interview with BBC, she shared how her doctor told her that there wasn’t a cure.

So, she started weight training to fight the pain and gain strength when she met her trainer in 2018.

She meets her trainer three times a week.

Yong-In Park, her personal trainor, told BBC that it was him who invited Lim to join the body-building competition to motivate her.

She didn’t win in her first competition but she was determined to try again.

Her win earned praises from netizens who think she is an inspiration.

Lim wants to continue doing it for as long as she can.
