Phoenix, Rain or Shine tap new imports for PBA Gov’s Cup

Hoping to turn their campaigns around in the ongoing PBA Governors’ Cup, the Phoenix Fuel Masters and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters decided to bring in new imports.

Phoenix has decided to send Eugene Phelps home and brought in in former NBA player Alonzo Gee.

According to a report by Spin.ph, Alonzo Gee has already arrived in the country.

The 32-year-old Gee is a legit former NBA player having played in Washington, Cleveland, Denver, Portland and New Orleans.

Phoenix is the latest team to tap a former NBA player as an import.Former Houston Rocket KJ McDaniels is playing TNT KaTropa, while former Dallas Maverick has Martin Harris has suited up for NLEX Road Warriors.

Rain or Shine, on the other hand, has brought in Kwame Alexander to replace Kayel Locke.

Alexander once played for NLEX and put up decent numbers.
