PBA to hold more games in Dubai

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will be holding more games in Dubai.

PBA Commissioner said top officials in Dubai have asked to bring more PBA games in the city following two “Balik sa Dubai” games at the Coca-Cola Arena last Saturday.

Officials said the league will not just play regular conference games in Dubai but even championship games or an All-Star game.

“It is already 70 percent sure that we are going to go back in Dubai,” officials said in a report in the league’s official website pba.ph.

Top officials of the Dubai Sports Council are very interested in hosting more PBA games in the future.

The report added that the PBA games could even be one of the highlights of the Dubai Expo 2020 festivities.

At least 15,000 basketball-loving Filipinos trooped to the Coca-Cola Arena over the weekend to watch the games featruring Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer and NLEX.
