A group of young Filipino dancers from Kidapawan City in Cotabato was recently adjudged overall champion during the World Supremacy Battle Ground dance competition.

The group named, “Offlimitz” bagged the gold medal at the competition held in Sydney, Australia on Sunday this week.

On their official Facebook page, the group posted their photo showing their trophy with the members also being given gold medals individually.

They bested 14 other 14 teams that competed in the varsity level.

A GMA News Online report said the group was composed mostly of high school students and some professionals.

The group was the only one from the Philippines that qualified in the world competition.

Team Captain Dave Cazenas described the competition as “very tough” since the rest of the contenders were also good in terms of dance moves.

He said he believed their synchronized dance movements enabled them to clinch the top spot.

Offlimitz was founded in 2007. Members also train interested elementary and high school students especially those who have a passion in dancing.
