Frustration continued to mount for Gilas Pilipinas as it tasted its fourth straight defeat after losing to Tunisia, 86-67, in Group N of the 2019 FIBA World Cup classification stage at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China last Friday.

Gilas succumbed to another flat start as it couldn’t recover after falling behind early, 10-27.

Imposing its size advantage, Tunisia tore the game apart after three quarters of play that saw them building a huge 28-point lead, 67-39.

“We’re still not making our shots. As a small team, we need to make our outside shots against a bigger team,” head coach Yeng Guiao said as per a report from ESPN.

While Gilas suffered a woeful shooting, Tunisia shot 49 percent from the field and had a plus 12 in second chance points.

Andray Blatche led Gilas with 23 points.
