Liyab players get chance to play for PH e-sports nat’l team in SEA Games

Players from Team Liyab have been named to the training pool of the Philippines’ e-sports national team.
Liyab AoV Team and Liyab SC2’s Enderr will have a chance to represent Sibol, the country’s e-sports national team that will compete in Southeast Asian Games scheduled on November 30 to December 11, 2019, in the Philippines.

Liyab players that were included the pool are Kevin Kio “Gambit” Dizon (Arena of Valor); Jeremiah “1717” Camarillo (Arena of Valor); Jervan Lorenzo “Bents” Delos Santos (Arena of Valor); Lawrence Anthony “Rubixx” Gatmaitan (Arena of Valor); Miguel Klarenz “Miggie” Banaag (Arena of Valor) and Caviar “Enderr” Acampado (StarCraft ll)

The SEA Games will hold competitions for the following e-sports Arena of Valor (7 players), Dota 2 (7 players); Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (7 players); Hearthstone (2 players); StarCraft II (2 players) and Tekken 7 (2 players)

“Being named to the national training pool alone is already a big honor to Team Liyab. It’s a glowing accomplishment to our boys who have come a long way from relative obscurity to now as potential SEA Games gold medalists,” Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO, said in a statement.

Team Liyab, which debuted early this year as an e-sports organization, is powered by Globe and Mineski.
