The San Miguel Beermen dominated the TNT KaTropa, 102-90, to wrest the 2019 PBA Commisioner’s Cup on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Beermen wrapped up the best-of-seven series, 4-2, collaring yet another crown by scoring three straight wins that enabled them to battle back from a 1-2 series deficit.

The championship run kept the Beermen’s Grand Slam bid alive as they also won the All-Filipino Cup.

Chris McCullough was superb for the Beermen anew as he tallied 35 points and 13 rebounds. June Mar Fajardo added 19 points, Christian Standhardinger donated 18, while Chris Ross and Terrence Romeo chipped in 10 points apiece.

Romeo was adjudged the Finals MVP after averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the Finals.

Terrence Jones led the way for the losing TNT with 41 points. Jayson Castro and RR Pogoy were the only other TNT players in double figures with 16 and 13 as the KaTropa trailed for most part of the game and were unable to make a serious threat.
