Team KVSVCN wins first Philippine Volleyball League in Abu Dhabi

Volleyball players and enthusiasts witnessed the first-ever Philippine Volleyball League in Abu Dhabi as Team KVSVCN took home the championship against Team Club7.

 

The all-Filipino sporting event was organized by TFT Lifestyle TV Host Dan Lester Dabon together with Allen Dale Mendoza as both of them, who are seasoned volleyball players themselves, aim to unite fellow Filipino volleyball players across the UAE regardless of their skill level to promote an active lifestyle and good health.

Special Awardees include:

Best Spiker- Berlin Paglinawan

Best Setter- Ralph Laurence Monteza Ruela

Best Digger- Mckoy Albuera

Best Receiver- Joery Tapia

Best Server- Darillio Fria

Best Blocker- Rj Bersamina

Most Improved Player- Rye Yan

Most Valuable Player- Ralph Ruela

The organizers will be hosting another league, this time in Dubai – the Philippine Volleyball League Reinforced this coming August 23 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Dubai World Trade Center. The second league will be free to attend and watch for the public as they will witness both Filipino volleyball players as well as participants from other nationalities as the organizers aim to establish camaraderie and teamwork as it celebrates diversity in the country.
