The head trainer and best friend of Sen. Manny Pacquaio wants to see the People’s Champ become President.
Buboy Fernandez blurted this out in an interview with reporters, according to Inquirer.
This, he said, is the reason for being always conscious of all his actions since it would affect his friend’s reputation.
Fernandez, who himself immersed in politics and won as Vice Mayor of Polangui, Albay.
Both Fernandez and Pacquiao are in Las Vegas for the latter’s scheduled fight with welterweight titlist Keith Thurman on July 20.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao will return to Manila on Sunday just in time to prepare for the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 22.
