Two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant officially made known of his transfer to Brooklyn Nets after his three-year stint with Golden State Warriors.

Durant posted a black-and-white photo of him on his Instagram account with the Brooklyn Bridge as his background.

Durant along with fellow player Kyrie Irving left Warriors to join Brooklyn Nets in a deal sealed on Sunday during the NBA free agency.

According to a report from ESPN, Durant will sign a four-year deal with Brooklyn Nets for $164-million.

Durant and Irving are the latest addition to the team who also signed Dallas’ center DeAndre Jordan.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Joe Lacob, CEO and Warriors’ Co-Chairman, thanked Durant for his contribution to the team that included two NBA championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, and three trips to the Finals.

Durant also earned NBA’s annual Community Assist Award while he was with them.

Lacob said that while he sits as CEO and Co-Chairman of the team, no one could wear the #35 jersey for the Warriors.

However, Durant will not be playing for the next season while recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. But NBA fans will surely see Irving and Jordan in action with the Nets who made the playoffs last season.
