UAE’s Filipino Expatriate Volleyball Association (FEVA) takes home the top prize after winning the championship of the 5th Inter GCC All-Filipino Volleyball Tournament that took place in Bahrain’s Muharraq Club last June 5.
FEVA bested eight teams that came from different countries within the gulf region. UAE’s FEVA team of seven players includes Dan Lester Dabon, Mark Paul de Jesus, Peter Mamac, Mark Joseph Praxidio, John John Trinidad Mendoza, Ryan Booc and Joery Tapia.
The UAE players also won in individual awards. De Jesus was hailed as Best Setter, Mamac was awarded with Best Digger, while Praxidio and Mendoza was awarded Best Blocker and Best Receiver, respectively.
The 5th Inter GCC All-Filipino Volleyball Tournament organized by Filipino Club Volleyball Group that aims to gather all the volleyball enthusiasts in the Middle East.
