Rockets keep Warriors at bay, ties semi-finals at 2-2

MANILA, Philippines – The Rockets, powered by James Harden who put in 38 field goals, kept the Warriors at bay, 112-108 to tie the series at 2-2 in the NBA Western Conference semi-finals.

“We just kept fighting. As I always say, we know how tough they are,” independent news portal, Rappler quoted Harden as saying.

The Rockets were on cruise control for the most part of the game until the Warriors regrouped for a 7-0 run, highlighted by trey from Steph Curry that tipped the balance at 110-108, with 19.3 seconds left.

And the Rockets kept the door ajar for the Warriors after Harden split his free throws, 111-108, with 11.5 ticks remaining, said the report adding that the Warriors had the opportunity to tie the game, “but Kevin Durant and Curry missed back-to-back three-point attempts.”
