Tough Mudder Returns to the UAE, and is Bigger and Better Than Ever

The world-renowned obstacle course challenge, Tough Mudder is back to test the toughness of the UAE, with the first of its events kicking off in the adventure Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah on Friday 1st March 2019. Tickets are now available at www.toughmudder.ae.

With more obstacles, more innovation and more mud-soaked mayhem than ever before, Tough Mudder invites you to face the ultimate challenge of physical strength, stamina and mental grit. This year will see a new event format and new obstacles for a brand-new challenge aimed at all ages.

Take your pick from four different course routes including; Tough Mudder 5k which includes 13+ obstacles on a 5km route, Tough Mudder Classic which will challenge you to 25+ obstacles on a 10km route and brand new for this year, Tougher Mudder, which will take place on the Tough Mudder Classic route but with prizes for the fastest times logged. Kids can also join in the fun with the Mini Mudder, a 1.6km course route for seven to 13 year olds.

Not only does it offer a spectacular and unique backdrop with stunning natural landscapes, but is also equipped with the necessary requirements and infrastructure to manage and organise large scale events efficiently.  The Tough Mudder event features a wide range of exciting new challenges, and we are confident that it will provide an unforgettable experience to sports and adventure enthusiasts visiting Ras Al Khaimah.”

For the first time in Tough Mudder’s UAE history, the event will take place at Mina al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah. Organised by Sabco Sports in partnership with Tough Mudder Inc. this mud-drenched obstacle challenge is designed around the values of courage, personal accomplishment, teamwork and fun. Whether you are a fitness fanatic, adrenaline junkie, looking to take on a new challenge this year or wanting to sign up with a team from a team building exercise to remember, it’s time to join the Mudder nation.

For 2019, Tough Mudder UAE will present both new and signature obstacles. New obstacles include; Black Widow (a series of 30’ long elevated tightropes suspended over water) and Leap of Faith (commit to clearing a 6’ water-filled gap, then grab tight to the hanging rope net and don’t let go), whilst Pyramid, Mud Mile and Everest 2.0 will be amongst the signature obstacles that make a welcome return.
