Pinoy Azkals fans to meet up to watch Azkals’ first AFC Asian Cup game

The AFC Asian Cup 2019 will see the Philippines’ team Azkals on the field for the first time today, January 7 at the Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.

In the comment threads and at messages sent to The Filipino Times, there will be a group of Azkals fans who will be meeting up at Dubai’s Oud Metha station from 2:00 pm onwards for those who plan to watch the games together.

So for those who were initially planning to watch alone or with a few friends – this is an opportunity to bring Filipino football fans together to cheer Azkals to motivate them in their bid to win their first game.

In an interview earlier with The Filipino Times, Younghusband hopes to see Filipino football fans to help boost the morale of the Philippine team during the games. “Sana lahat sila nandun sa game. Hopefully, all of them can be at the game and support us because we need all the support we can get. Coming against these strong teams, the fans will give us confidence.”

After their game today vs Korea, they will be facing China at a game in Abu Dhabi and Kyrgyztan at a game in Dubai. Details as follows:
