ADFIVA hosts one-day Chairman’s Cup

The Abu Dhabi Filipino Volleyball Association recently held its 3rd season of their Chairman’s Cup at Emirates Heritage Club in Abu Dhabi last November 23.

In attendance was Vice Consul Anna Guerra, Bayanihan Chairman Elmer Casao, together with community leaders and over 70 players who vied for the top prize.

A total of 10 teams competed in a round robin format: Blitz, FAB4, Baladiya Spikers, Underdogz, BFFs, DAMAN, PiWVA Artista Reloaded, Akatsuki, TALENTSOUQ, and RAKFIVA MVT duked it all out in the court in their attempt to bring home the championship.

PiWVA Artista Reloaded emerged as the Champion with team DAMAN as the first runner up.

Jayson Abraham of PiWVA was named as the MVP of the cup. The Mythical Six included: Murty Dela Cruz, Daryl Fria, Richard Leabres, Matet, Arvin Antonio, and Mackoy Albuera.
