Floyd Mayweather says he’s “coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao”

The undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather took to Instagram to announce that he will be returning to the boxing scene with a rematch fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather posted a video on his Instagram account wherein he and Pacquiao playfully taunt each other.

The 41-year-old American boxer even captioned the video by saying he is coming back to fight Pacquiao “this year”, and get a “nine-figure payday” out of their fight.

Mayweather reportedly earned over $200 million after he won via unanimous decision during their first bout in 2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“I have the belt,” Pacquiao can be heard saying at one point of the video referring to the welterweight world title he won from his fight with Lucas Matthysse last July in Malaysia.

Mayweather responds to Pacquiao by saying, “I will take the belt like I did before”.

Pacquiao, who claimed that an injured shoulder caused him to lose his previous fight with Mayweather, has already expressed his interest in having a rematch with the American boxer.

“Mayweather? If he decides to go back to boxing then that is the time we are going to call the shots,” he previously said.

No further details about Mayweather’s Instagram post and his possible rematch with Pacquiao have been announced.
