Politician-athlete Senator Manny Pacquiao may be seen again in a boxing match before 2017 ends in the city of Dubai.
Citing an insider, Pacquiao has allowed a UAE-based group to promote a match between him and a boxer of his choice, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.
The insider also said that Pacquiao advisers will fly to Dubai next week to have a meeting about the possible matchup in the UAE.
The insider added that Pacquiao may face former unified light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan.
Pacquiao was supposed to have a rematch in November against Australian boxer Jeff Horn but backed out due to senatorial commitments.
Horn pulled an upset win against Pacquiao via unanimous decision on July 2 this year.
