Pacquaio: I will be going home as world champion

Manny Pacquiao has arrived a week earlier in Brisbane for his scheduled fight with Jeff Horn on July 2, 2017 at the SunCorp stadium.

The 38-year old boxer has vowed to return home to the Philippines a winner, declaring, “I will be going home as champion.”

Pacquaio and Horn will be competing for the World Boxing Organization Welterweight championship in a match dubbed as the “Battle of Brisbane.”

According to Pacquiao, he is fired up and ready for the fight stating, “In all my years of boxing, I have never been as motivated and fired up as this fight. My team is very happy with my preparation. I am looking forward to this and I will be going home as world champion.”

The boxer-slash-senator also does not underestimate his opponent saying, “I consider him a tough opponent. I never underestimate my opponent. He’s undefeated, he’s young. I like aggressive fighters.”

Manny Pacquiao has a record of 59 wins, 6 losses, and 2 draws. Meanwhile, Jeff Horn has won 16 out of 17 fights with one draw.
