PH ice hockey team vying for Malaysia SEA Games

A Philippine men’s ice hockey team beat a Korean team at the SM Megamall ice skating rink Thursday to keep its hope alive in competing in the sports at the 29th edition of the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur.

Team “Pilipinas” to advance to the next stage with a thrilling 3-2 victory against Seoul Thunders (Korea) in the Open category in the Philippine Ice Hockey Tournament.

The three-day tournament is a tune-up for Pilipinas for the upcoming SEA Games. It is organized by Philippine Federation of Ice Hockey League Inc.

Six teams are playing in the Philippine Ice Hockey Tournament namely Pandoo and Sting of Singapore, Seoul Thunders of Korea, Europe, Canada and Islanders (Philippines).
