The UAE Mountain Biking Jumeirah recently organized a beach clean-up drive along the shores of Jumeirah Beach near Burj Al Arab. This was done under the program initiative, “An Hour with the Cleaners” of the Waste Management Department of Dubai Municipality-Government of Dubai.
The cyclists were joined by their families and friends. Other nationalities as well as tourists who happened to be on the beach at the time of the clean-up also joined.
Just after the beach cleaning, the group received a Certificate of Appreciation from Dubai Municipality-Government of Dubai, after which snacks were passed around sponsored by Magicshine (official bike lights of Jumeirah Group) through, Jessie Cruz.
“Our group was so proud to have been given this chance. This is another way of expressing camaraderie among Filipino bikers. Our simple little way of showing our love and care to Dubai,” Boton said.
