PH Consulate in Dubai reiterates strict no-appointment-no-service policy

The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai (PCG Dubai) has announced new timings for their consular services and operations.
In an advisory on social media, PCG Dubai released the following business hours for their various services:
Passport Service

  • Passport processing– 8  AM to 4:30 PM
  • Passport releasing– 8 AM to 5 PM

Civil registration

  • Registration of birth/Birth certificate– 8 AM to 4:30 PM: Report of Birth Appointments
  • Marriage/Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage or Solemnization of Marriage– 8 AM to 4:30 PM (For appointments scheduled on Monday to Wednesday, the applications for marriage will only be accommodated in the morning, as the weddings will be held in the afternoon): Marriage Appointments
  • Repatriation of remains (no appointment required)– 8 AM – to 4:30 PM
  • Notarization of legal docs– 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Assistance-to-Nationals – 8 AM to 5 PM

 
PCG Dubai reiterates their no-appointment-no-service policy. Everyone is required to present the appointment’s QR code that is sent to the registered email before they can be allowed to enter the premises of the Consulate.

In addition, people who have scheduled appointments in June and July may go to the Consulate anytime within the month of their original appointment from Sunday to Wednesday at 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Visa issuance, meanwhile, is still suspended, as well as the entry of visa-free nationals to the Philippines under Proclamation No. 929 or the country’s State of Calamity due to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). Those who are exempted from the ban include officials of foreign governments and organizations accredited by the Philippines, as well as foreign spouses and children of Filipinos.
