Saudi Arabia announced extension of the validity of all tourist visas which had expired during the period of suspension of international flights, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The extension will be made automatically and does not require travel to the General Directorate of Passports’ offices.
The kingdom initially suspended all international flights last March 15.
Domestic flights within the kingdom will resume starting May 31 via its national airlines, more than two months since the suspension of local travel.
This comes following easing of lockdown restrictions in three phases from Thursday, Interior Ministry said.
As of Tuesday, Saudi reported 76,726 total number of COVID-19 infections with 411 deaths.
