Retail sector compliant with COVID-19 guidelines – Dubai Economy

The Department of Economic Development in Dubai (DED) of May 17 announced that retail stores have been compliant with the safety measures set by the government against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a report by Khaleej Times, DED said that the retail sector has been obedient for the third straight day during inspections—which included 240 commercial outlets all over the emirate.
All the stores were not shut down, nor issued fine or warning.
In addition, the department also urges consumers to report any violations through their app—Dubai Consumer App—available on Apple, Google, and Huawei stores. Customers may also call their hotline at 600545555, or file their complaint via their website at Consumerrights.ae.
