A barangay councilor o kagawad in Bulacan has received criticism after allegedly taking back half of the money given to residents under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP), GMA News reported.
In GMA News’ “Unang Balita,” a video from a netizen showed a heated argument from residents and the kagawad of Barangay San Vicente after the latter took back half of the PHP6,000 subsidy from the town’s beneficiaries.
According to GMA News, the kagawad has yet to comment regarding the issue.
Earlier, another kagawad in Hagonoy, Bulacan was nabbed after also allegedly taking back half of the cash aid given to the beneficiaries.
