The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed that it has certified De La Salle University in Cavite as a coronavirus disease (COVID-19) testing facility, GMA News reported.
The certification of the university has added to the total number of licensed Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) laboratories—which now stands at 24.
As of May 8, DOH has already tested a total of 142,663 individuals for COVID-19. Around 90 percent of those, or 127,041, tested negative for the disease.
