BREAKING: OWWA confirms suicide of quarantined 42-year-old OFW from Kuwait

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has confirmed the apparent suicide of a 42-year-old OFW, early morning of April 26.
She was about to end her 14 days in quarantine at a lodging house provided by OWWA when she committed suicide.
Reports state that the victim went on quarantine last April 4, 2020, together with other OFWs from Kuwait. Authorities furthered that the victim was a resident of Demapaco, Libungan, Cotabato.
SOCO assessment states that there was no foul play and that OWWA is now working and seeking help from the Armed Forces of the Philippines to send the OFW’s remains back to her hometown.
