Abu Dhabi has announced that it will be providing COVID-19 tests free of charge to the public in the capital’s continuous efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Those who may get free COVID-19 tests should fall within at least one of the following categories:
– Those over the age of 50;
– Those who display symptoms of the virus which include, but not limited to: Coughing, high fever, difficulty in breathing
Timings are from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The Department of Economic Development (DED) in Abu Dhabi has set up two clinics located in Mussafah as part of the country’s precautionary measures to safeguard the health of the public.
The department also affirms the public that the free tests are available for everyone, even those who don’t have a valid residence visa.

The UAE currently has 6,302 confirmed cases with 37 deaths and 1,188 who have fully recovered from the disease.
